In Chile, he was part of the investment team at AFP CUPRUM and later served as CFO and CEO of companies across multiple sectors in the real economy. In the United States, he worked as a senior investment associate at the private equity firm Encourage Capital, in New York.

In Chile, he worked at DITCUC, AFP Cuprum, AMM and the Ministry of Finance's Capital Markets division. In the United States, he was an emerging debt trader for Santander Investment Securities in New York.

In Chile, he spent ten years at pension funds leading alternative and liquid investments, and six years in business development for alternatives. In the United States, he began his career as a consultant at the IDB in Washington, D.C.
